About this template

This is scrollytelling done properly: the reader scrolls, and the thing being explained moves. Each section takes one idea and gives the visualisation one job, which is what stops a long page from becoming a wall of text with a picture stuck at the top. The HUD stays pinned so the reader never loses the scale they are working in.

The structure is the reusable part. Nine sections carry a hook, four or five explanatory beats, a numbers panel and a closing line — the shape almost every serious data story takes. Point it at your own subject and the pacing comes with it.
