About this template

The design's strongest decision is the risk section. An expedition page that states what could go wrong is more persuasive than one that does not, and the whole page is built to earn that moment — the topo and the profile establish that these people know the route before the risk section admits what they do not.

The topo and the altitude rail are drawn in the browser and travel with the scroll, which is what makes a vertical subject legible on a vertical page.
