Upgrade, downgrade or switch billing cadence
Change plan or move between monthly and annual, and what happens to your credits.
Last updated
Upgrading
From Manage account → Billing, pick the plan you want. Upgrades take effect immediately — the new allowance is available straight away.
Downgrading
Downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle. You keep your current plan and its allowance until then, so you're never cut off mid-month for a change you made on the 3rd.
After a downgrade, plan limits apply going forward. Projects and screens beyond the new limit aren't deleted, but you may not be able to create more until you're back under it.
Monthly ↔ annual
You can switch cadence any time from billing settings. Annual is priced at a substantial discount to twelve months of monthly.
One thing to know: switching mid-cycle can produce a proration charge from the payment provider as well as the new plan's charge. If you'd rather avoid two charges close together, switch at the start of a cycle — or talk to us first and we'll walk it through with you.
What happens to credits
- Upgrade — the new allowance becomes available immediately.
- Downgrade — the new allowance applies from the next cycle.
- Monthly credits do not roll over between cycles.
Team plans
For teams, the owner manages the plan and seats. Members don't need their own subscriptions. See Teams and seats.
