Give UXMagic a picture of an interface and it rebuilds it as a real, editable screen.

Steps#

  1. Click the attachment button in the prompt box and upload your image (JPEG, PNG or WebP).
  2. Say what you want done with it. This matters more than people expect:
    • "Rebuild this screen exactly" — faithful reproduction.
    • "Rebuild this layout but in our brand colours" — structure kept, theme applied.
    • "This is our competitor's pricing page — design ours in the same structure" — structure as inspiration.
  3. Send.

Getting a faithful reproduction#

  • Upload the full screen, not a crop, if you want the whole layout.
  • Upload at a readable resolution — if you can't read the labels, neither can the AI.
  • If exact colours matter, say "match the colours in the screenshot exactly". By default an existing project's theme wins, because in most projects consistency is what people actually want.

Multiple screenshots#

Upload several at once for a multi-screen flow, and the AI will treat them as a set and keep them consistent with each other.

A known trap#

In an existing project, a screenshot alone does not override the project's theme — the new screen inherits the palette already in use. If you want the reference's palette instead, ask for it in words: "use the colours from this image, not the current theme."

Cost#

Reading an image is free; designing the screen from it costs the usual screen-creation credits.

Frequently asked

What image formats can I upload?
JPEG, PNG and WebP. Very large images are resized before the AI reads them.
Will it copy the screenshot exactly?
It reproduces layout, hierarchy and component structure faithfully. Say so explicitly if you also want the exact colours and copy — otherwise the project theme is applied.
